Learning for Life is an educational program designed to meet the needs of youth and schools. It helps youth meet the challenge of growing up by teaching character and good decision-making skills and then linking those skills to the real world. Developed by professional educators and child-development experts, the Learning for Life curriculum has thee basic components: school-based learning, connecting activities, and work-based learning. Combined, these components provide a structure through which youth learn the value of respect and responsibility while discovering a world of career opportunities.

Students will be trained to use prepared lesson plans in elementary, middle, and/or high school classrooms. Will facilitate lessons and discussions.  students may become explorer youth (14-21) and or an explorer advisor (21-up) for a specific career cluster where youth are leaning everything about a specific career.

Leadership skills, social skills, scholarships, recognition items, firld trips to camp events and district events.  Covered through our council as a scondary insurance.

The lesson plans/materials would be a great addition to resources preservice teachers build for themselves as they get ready to teach.
