Details: ArtFest Fort Myers, Inc. is a not-for-profit arts and cultural organization whose mission is the creation of pubic access to a broad array of visual art; nurturing the development and understanding of diverse art forms; supporting arts in education and encouraging the appreciation of the arts in Southwest Florida. Producing the annual nationally recognized, award-winning Fort Myers art festival, centered around a Juried Fine Art Show, is our core activity. ArtFest Fort Myers is 17 years old, takes place the first weekend in February each year, is free to the public, brought 85,000 attendees to downtown Fort Myers in 2017, featuring over 200 exhibiting artists, performing arts, interactive art activities, a showcase for other art organizations, a high school art exhibit/competition with cash/scholarship awards, a high school chalk competition, and provides art outreach programming to the SWFL community. www.artfestfortmyers.com
Job Description: ArtFest Fort Myers has several options for volunteers.

Areas of interest include:
Pre-Festival Set-up & Decorating (Thurs. & Friday)
Opening Night (Friday)
Artist Booth Sitters
Art Yard Kidís Activities
Art Under 20, High School Art Exhibit Area
Chalk Block, High School Chalk Competition
Information Booth
Publix Run to the Arts 5K
VIP Tent

Festival Weekend Volunteers
Opportunities are varied and hours can range from a 4-hour shift to a full 40-hour week. Duties vary and can often be tailored to the students interests/studies. Please contact our office for detailed information.
