School on Wheels is a part of Guadalupe Social Services, a non-profit agency, in Immokalee, FL. Its umbrella agency is Catholic Charities, DOV. Our mission is to increase the independence and decrease the isolation of migrant and other marginalized women in Immokalee by teaching them Survival English conversational skills in the security of their homes. |
| Job Description: |
Female volunteers needed to provide free Survival English lessons to migrant women in their own homes in Immokalee, FL. Spanish is NOT needed.Training and support provided.Will meet with student 1 hour per week for a minimum of 3 months.Volunteer may have 2 or more students to make the drive worthwhile.Carpool with fellow students |
