The Junior League of Fort Myers reaches out to women of all races, religions and national origin who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism. Nearly 300 strong, our members reflect a wide range of backgrounds, interest and professional pursuits. Working together, throughout our history, our members have proven to be accomplished collaborators. They build coalitions. They identify community needs. They develop effective and responsive programs to meet those needs. It takes courage and commitment. Since our founding in 1966, JLFM has contributed more than 1,000,000 hours and over $1,000,000 to community projects and programs.

A sampling of our past projects include: founding of the Calusa Nature Center, founding of the Womenís Resource Center, providing support for the Ronald McDonald House, Burroughs Home, Harlem Heights Foundation, the Imaginarium and Teen Court, just to name a few.
Job Description: Come be a part of one of the largest food festivals in SW Florida - Taste of the Town 2014, Sunday, November 2, 2014 @ jetBlue Park.

This is a huge event, and JLFM cannot put it on without help. Each year we depend on a team of nearly 250 awesome volunteers to help us make Taste a success. We hope you will consider joining us as a volunteer this year. Volunteers can help with a number of tasks including set-up, selling beer/soda/water, placing wristbands on patrons, monitoring entertainment areas, selling food & beverage tickets, and break-down.
