We are a primary resource for local residents, visitors, newcomers, business owners and those considering relocation to this beautiful area! We have been honored by receiving the prestigious Five-Star Accreditation status! This means we have met the highest benchmarks set by the United States Chamber of Commerce. Only 43 of the 6,936 chambers across the entire United States have attained a five-star level of operation. Statistically, we are in the top one percent of all Chambers in the United States! Our chamber actively supports the growth of more than 1,150 Southwest Florida member businesses. Our members include businesses from Bonita Springs, Naples, Estero, Cape Coral, Fort Myers Beach and Fort Myers. With an energetic and dedicated staff, we live by our mission statement every day to Serve our members Promote an environment where business can grow and prosper Enhance the quality of life of the Bonita Springs area Our leadership is comprised of an exceptionally strong Board of Directors, which represent a wide spectrum of businesses in our community. New members are offered a broad range of opportunities to get involved in our chamber, including Networking Events – more than 56 a year! Numerous Year-Round programs Chamber committees and Task Forces Business exposure through sponsorship opportunities in the Visitors Center, on the website, and at events!

Job Description:

Managed through the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce the Visitor Center.  The Information Specialists provide information services to the Chamber visitors at the information desk or to persons telephoning the Chamber for assistance.  In addition to welcoming visitors, Chamber desk volunteers provide a broad range of information about the Bonita Springs area and Chamber’s Business Members.  They are knowledgeable about popular attractions and events taking place.  Telephone information volunteers respond to inquiries that pertain to the Chamber activity, forward calls to staff members as appropriate and fulfill a variety of requests for printed information.  Volunteers will also work with various staff members assisting in short term projects as mailings, inventory and phone calls.  They may assist with some computer work assisting with databases and reports.  Opportunities to work at events presented by the Chamber will be available.   It is our goal to provide interesting and rewarding internships designed around the various Chamber projects.  The program offers the chance to work behind the scenes and experience Chamber work firsthand.  I hope you decide to join us.
