Kowiachobee Animal Preserve functions as a rescue / adoption center for abused and neglected animals, but our primary focus is elementary aged education.

Families, schools, social groups, and communities can visit the preserve and learn about the animals we care for . Each animal has a story that all of us can learn from.

Kowiachobee Animal Preserve is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization.We are in need of assistance in various areas, including animal care, educational and other print materials, fundraising, grantwriting, event planning, and habitat design and construction.

Admittance to the Preserve is always free (donations accepted).

We are looking for committed volunteers with a passion for animals and a genuine concern for their welfare, and the drive to make a difference.
