Details: The goal of Cypress Cove is to provide quality healthcare in a caring, compassionate atmosphere. The emphasis here is on "family". We accomplish this through resident involvement, a dedicated and professional staff, and by promoting services to enhance the quality of life of our residents.
Job Description: The students volunteering at Cypress Cove will provide many services and programs which enhance and enrich the resident''s quality of life. Varied opportunities are available to the interested volunteer. Some of these activities can include
-assisting at programs such as crafts, baking, horticulture, socials, outings, worship services, sing songs, games, sensory stimulation, bible study, etc. -friendly visiting-reading with a resident-big events such as Senior Olympics or Assisted Living Week

Projects that are currently open to tackle:
*Implementing Activity Kits on each nursing unit
*Starting an educational series for our high functioning rehab clients (maybe on how to use your ipad, exercises to do at home once discharged etc.)
