The new non-profit, SLIE, or Sustainable Living & Interconnected Education, Inc. Is just what the name states. It is a teacher of any any all green living techniques from solar panels to gardening, through hands on workshops, classes and lectures, for the good of all and our planet. We are engineers, students, teachers, and entrepreneurs all looking for something we can collectively focus on, and make a change to that affects the world we all live in for the better. We welcome any and all people with what we like to call a, "green brain" which is anyone with thoughts of doing something to positively improve the world we live in rather than feed off of and destroy it. | Job Description: |
At this point our facilities are based out of a residence, so the first goal is making the property more green. We have gardens planned, compost sections, rain barrels and hopefully some tilapia fish farming. This is just the beginning, so much of what needs to be done will be decently challening labor, digging, building raised garden beds, contructing water capturing vesels and their gutters. |
