Sports & Fitness
Lee County Parks and Recreation have numerous and varied opportunities for service-learning. Our Centers have many types of programs for children after school, sports activities and events. Our many Regional Parks have land stewardship activities in groups as well as individual assistance. Therapeutic Recreation is offered year around for Special Olympic events. Our summer camps offer the opportunity for mentoring a child, teaching, and general camp activity assistance. In some instances we can create a position that is tailored to a student's area of study.
Can be established at time of interview with a Volunteer Supervisor in area of student's interest.
