Meet the social, emotional, economic, and developmental needs of the children and familes we serve. Private and state funding provide childcare for children of low-income working families and emergency assistance services.

Emergency Assistance Position: Provifde intake services, refer to appropriate agencies and/or provide assistance, handle paperwork, prepare food baskets, inventory pantry, rotate food stock, and monitor food. Thrift Store - Assist in operation of store. Publications - Help to develop and publish newsletter, brochures, and announcements. Maintenanace and Repair of grounds and property. Child Care (Preschoolers) - Huggers, rockers, feeders, and readers; assisting with supervision & interaction in learning centers; share special talents. Child care (School age) - Tutor 6:45-8:30 AM or 3 - 4:30 PM during the school year; mentors needed all year. Share your talents. Behind the scenes: Bake cakes and assist with birthdays; make quilts, blankets, and sheets for children's cribs and cots; make shorts, knit slippers & hats, make doll clothing, cloth activity books. Mission also needs Volunteer Coordinator, proposal writers, and volunteers to assist with Public Relations and Awareness.
