Our purpose is to assist in meeting the basic needs of the less fortunate people of Bonita Springs, Florida, providing nutritional and supplemental assistance while preserving the dignity of the client. |
| Job Description: |
The Cafe of Life seeks to provide for the basic needs of our clients. To that end students may have the following opportunities:
-help with the lunch service Mon thru Fri from 9:30 to 11:30. Service includes set up/take down of portable 'cafeteria' and food service.
-engage clients & assist Site Manager with evaluation of client health, legal or social service needs and make recommendations for assistance and follow through with the client.
-evaluate organization's community profile and objectives communications in order to maximize positive, accurate exposure in Bonita. |

Following the meal service all volunteers and students are welcomed to enjoy a complimentary lunch from the days menu.
The on site hours are few, and there is good opportunity for self paced project development. |
| Additional Information: |
Bi-lingual or Spanish language students will have the best opportunity to engage directly with clients. Spanish translators are available on site daily as well.
The Cafe of Life service is entirely outdoors, rain or shine. We serve all holidays as well except the 4th of July.
