Through the specially developed "Matchmaking Engine," located under the "Tutoring" tab of our website, students-in-need will have the opportunity to answer a few questions as a means to match up with another student (referred to as a "MAGIC Scholar) apt to provide academic assistance and/or scholastic mentoring.
Job Description: Students interested in becoming MAGIC Scholars (students capable of providing academic assistance and/or scholastic mentoring to other students in need) will be requested to provide contact information and a brief background description for MAGIC's website directory. Once the above information is provided to MAGIC staff, interested students will be listed on the "MAGIC Scholar DIrectory." Students in need of academic assistance and/or scholastic mentoring, then, through the technology of MAGIC's "Matchmaking Engine," will pair up with Scholars apt to provide them with assistance (according to the specific credentials that particular student in need selected). Then, the student-in-need and MAGIC Scholar will work out a date, time, and place (one of MAGIC's Certified Locations) for academic assistance and/or scholastic mentoring sessions convenient for both parties.
