Details: MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) is the leading healthcare organization decidated to research to finding a cure for 43 different neuromuscular diseases and providing services to the families who are enrolled.
Job Description: MDA Summer Camp Volunteer-Weeklong overnight program for children ages 6-17 yrs of age. The volunteers will provide hands on assistance with activities of daily living, coaching, mentoring, supervisoring and supporting the youth.
Times of Work: Weekdays daytime, Weekdays evenings, Weekends daytime, Weekends evenings

Benefits Offered: Complimentary T-shirt, all meals and snacks provided for the week.
Additional Information: The program can provide necessary hours for field service work, licensed RNs are at the camp all week long. Volunteers are responsible for own transportation to and from camp. There is an application process, reference check, criminal background check. Recruitment is year round to serve during the last week of June, on an annual basis.
