Details: Sarah Ann Center is for adults receiving mental health services. We provide opportunity for socializing and recreation at no cost. Lunch and transportation is provided. Members may also have co-occuring substance abuse or other disabilities in addition to mental illness. Some members are doing community service or are part of FIRST, Forensic Intensive Reintegration Support Team. Support groups are on Tuesdays from 1230 to 200 and Thursdays from 1030 to 12 noon. We are open six days a week, MWF 1030 to 430 and TThS 1030 to 230.
Job Description: We need of volunteers looking for experience/interest in Occupational Therapy, Fitness, Social Work; Counseling, Psychology, Criminal Justice. We would like volunteers to spend one to one time with members. We are also looking for help with persons with substance abuse and criminal justice issues. We have computers, and Arts and Crafts room and a Fitness room. We would like volunteers to do Music Therapy and Nutrition also. We have a television which can access YouTube
