Details: Sarah Ann Center is for adults receiving mental health services to attend for socialization, education, advocacy and integration. Lunch and outings are provided. Many members have co-ocurring disorders such as traumatic brain injuries, substance abuse, MS in addition to severe persistent mental illnesses.
Job Description: We are in need of volunteers looking for experience with Occupational Therapy, Fitness, Social Work; Counselling. We would like volunteers to spend one to one time with two members with traumatic brain injuries, two with autism, one with MS and several with severe persistent mental illnesses. We are also looking for help with persons with substance abuse and criminal justice issues. We have computers, and Arts and Crafts room and a Fitness room.
