Details: The PINBALL ASYLUM is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), private space to play pinball. Pinball is a great American amusement and cultural artifact currently gaining a resurgence, with over 18,000 registered tournament players worldwide.

The Pinball Asylum is an officially sanctioned IFPA (International Flipper Pinball Association) site where world-ranked players, as well as casual players, can enjoy the fun, art and sport of the game.

Tournaments and charity events put on by the Pinball Asylum ultimately support Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida, where through Project Pinball we have refurbished and currently maintain a Spider-Man pinball machine that is played daily at the hospital by the patients and family members, nurses and doctors.
Job Description: We need scorekeepers for our pinball tournaments. Two or three volunteers will record scores and other related tasks for the 40+ players in our tournaments, while learning about pinball and maybe playing some pinball from our collection of some 40+ machines, from the 1960's up to the latest and greatest 2013 Marvel Avengers pinball machine.

We'll need you for a couple of hours of orientation on either Saturday or Sunday, May 25th or 26th, and for 3-6 hours shifts on Saturday and Sunday, June 1-2 for the actual tournament.
