Details: Intelligentsia International, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit educational organization that provides student exchange programs in Florida. Students are provided with practical experience opportunities in a wide range of community service and technical areas. Since 1999 Intelligentsia has hosted 400 students from 60 nations in LaBelle for programs averaging 3.5 months each.
Job Description: While most of its projects are better suited for internships, Intelligentsia offers some opportunities for service learning activities in a number of areas.

1. LaBelle Nature Park trails and plant ID markers improvements.

2. Caloosahatchee River oxbows monitoring, analysis, and restoration.

3. Non-profit organization management (finances, marketing, etc.)

4. Earth Day educational programs for school children.

5. Clean drinking water projects for developing nations, in cooperation with Rotary International.

6. SW Florida Water Resources Conference planning and organizing (see www.awra.caloosahatchee.org/service)
