Grace Community Center
||Grace Creative Solutions for Exceptional Entrepreneurs is a job training and employment program for special needs high school students. The Lee County School district sends students from four area high schools to the Grace Community Center to learn all aspects of worm farming. In addition to worm farming, students are also involved in recycling vinyl records to make unique garden art and herb planters. When students graduate from high school they are offered employment in the program.
||Students, under the guidance of our program director, would assist special needs individuals with worm farming: feeding, watering, sifting and packaging worms and worm products. They will also assist with melting and painting vinyl records to make into yard art flowers and herb planters. From time to time, we work in the garden planting and harvesting vegetables and herbs.
