Bonita Springs Middle School Center for the Arts AVID Program

Job Description: We need college tutors for our AVID class. AVID is an elective class for students that are on the path to college but need extra support with their classwork. AVID is not for "at-risk" students and it is not study hall.

Tutors will facilitate small group tutorology sessions with students in a classroom with a certified teacher present.

Tutoring sessions are two days per week for 40 minute sessions.

Benefits Offered: Experience working directly with youth in a school. Education majors will have exposure to faculty and administration which can enhance resume and be a potential source for a future employment.
Additional Information: Hours of service: 11:45 - 12:50 & 3:08-3:50. Tutors do not need to attend both time blocks.
