Details: Lee Memorial Health System is the leading provider of health care in Southwest Florida and has served the residents of Lee County and surrounding communities for over 80 years. It is the largest community-owned, not-for-profit, health system in the state of Florida, which receives no direct tax support. Lee Memorial is governed by the 10 member publicly-elected Hospital Board of Directors of Lee County.
Job Description: To be eligible for consideration, students must be able to volunteer for a four-hour shift weekly for a minimum of six consecutive months. Volunteer opportunities are available in various departments throughout the health system. Placements will be based on student interest and skills paired with hospital needs. Orientation, interview, and health screening are required.
