Therapeutic horseback riding program for adults and children with disabilities. Our mission is to improve the lives of these individuals through the use of equine therapy.

Seeking students to assist riders, lead horses, groom & tack horses and coordinate volunteers during program lessons and activities. We ask that all our volunteers go through our trainings, even if they have years of horse experience or have volunteered at another therapeutic riding center. This way, we can explain all of our methods and procedures and no important details are missed. Consistency is key to keep our program running safely and smoothly. We are all so seeking students interested in helping in the office, as well as helping with fundraising events.

We provide free training to assist. Our first suggestion if you are interested in knowing more about NEC and perhaps even volunteering with our program would be to come and visit our property and see what the lessons and program includes. Prior to turning in your Volunteer Application, please schedule a time for a tour of the property and a meeting to review volunteer expectations with the Program Administrator.
