Therapeutic horseback riding program for adults and children with special needs. Our mission is to improve the lives of these individuals through the use of equine therapy.

Job Description:

Seeking students to assist riders, lead horses, groom & tack horses for therapuetic riding lessons and activities. We ask that all our volunteers go through NEC trainings, even if they have years of horse experience or have volunteered at another therapeutic riding center. This way, we can explain all of our methods and procedures and no important details are missed. Consistency is key to keeping our program running safely and smoothly. We are also seeking students interested in helping in the office, as well as helping with fundraising events.

We provide free training to assist. If you are interested in volunteering with our program, please download the volunteer sign-up packet from our website and return it to the NEC office or send by fax/e-mail. We can then get you scheduled to come in for an orientation and future trainings. Volunteer Sign in Applications can be found on the NEC website: Applications must be completed for every volunteer.
