Websites

The websites listed below are of general interest, and they provide links to many other interesting websites, probably more than you will ever be able to use!  They will be helpful to faculty members developing service learning courses. 

1.  http://www.cns.gov/ - Corporation for National Service (CNS) website.  Great site with links to everything “government.” 
2.  http://www.compact.org - Campus Compact, a national organization that was started by college and university presidents, encourage civic engagement.  FGCU is a member.  If you are interested in pursuing information on civic engagement, through links to other sites, this is the place to do it.  Provides more links than you will ever have a chance to explore! 
3. www.floridacompact.org - Florida chapter of Campus Compact 
4. www.servicelearning.org - National Service-Learning Clearinghouse, Database of catalogued information on every imaginable service-learning topic. Staff will research and provide bibliography of articles free of charge. 
5. http://www.serviceleader.org/vv/ - Virtual Volunteering Project; Virtual Verve is the on-line newsletter for the project based at the University of Texas at Austin.
