Just as commencement is a ritual marking the completion of study, convocation is a ritual signaling the beginning of your college career.  Convocation is the first of many educational experiences allowing you to develop a connection to FGCU.  This formal, yet celebratory, event provides an opportunity for FGCU to demonstrate how we value the significance of your educational endeavors.
