Automobile Liability State Self - Insured Program
Under this state self - insured program, there can not be any additional insured parties added to this program. This program provides coverage for FGCU, when the University is legally obligated to pay for damages because of bodily injury, sickness or disease, including death, destruction to property damage to others arising out of ownership, maintenance or use including loading or unloading of any owned, hired or non-owned automobile caused by the negligent or wrongful act of any FGCU agent, volunteer, employee or officer while acting within the course and scope of university business. This is program is pursuant to the provisions and limitations of Chapter 284, Part II and Section 768.28, Florida Statutes.
General Liability State Self - Insured Program
Under this state self-insured program, there can not be any additional insured parties added to this program. This program provides coverage for FGCU, when the University is legally obligated to pay for damages for injury or loss of property, personal injury, or death caused by the negligent or wrongful act of any FGCU agent, officer, employee or volunteer.
Federal Civil Rights
Under the state self-insured program, there can not be any additional insured parties added to this program. This program provides coverage for FGCU to pay on behalf of the University all sums, including plaintiff attorney fees, which the University shall become legally obligated to pay arising from civil rights actions.
Workers Comp
Under the state self-insured program, there can not be any additional insured parties added to this program. This program provides coverage for university employees, for injuries, sickness or death arising out of and in course of employment. Includes coverage for loss of compensation, medical expenses, legal expenses, and death benefits.
