The Eagle ID card can be used for a wide range of on-campus services such as Meal Plans, photocopying, purchases, and other services. [return to questions]

Do I need an ID Card? In order to take advantage of the many services and privileges of being an FGCU student, faculty or staff member, an Eagle ID is needed. Some of the services and privileges include: Library check-out and copying services, access to FGCU events and activities for students, use of the campus recreation facilities, and more. [return to questions]

Why do we have new ID cards? The main reason is to provide more secure cardholder identification; also, the new card is capable of accessing more products and services, and at more locations than the old one. [return to questions]

How much do Eagle ID cards cost? Your First Eagle ID is free; replacement cards are $15. [return to questions]

How do I get a replacement card if mine is damaged?

There is a $15 replacement fee for damaged Eagle ID cards. Cards that need to be replaced due to malfunction or name change are issued at no charge provided that the most recent card issued is returned when a replacement is requested. (A malfunction is when the black mag stripe on the back of the card has no visible damage, is the current active card, and cannot be read for all activities.) Take your damaged or otherwise unusable card to the Eagle ID Card Office, Student Union, located on the first floor.  Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00 pm.  [return to questions]

When does my card expire? Your Eagle ID card will no longer be valid as FGCU identification upon complete withdrawal of classes or termination of employment with the University. Eagle dollars may continue to be used until they are exhausted. [return to questions]

When should I carry my Eagle ID with me? At all times when on any FGCU campus, and off campus when representing FGCU. [return to questions]
