Using Your Eagle ID

You can add 'Eagle Dollars' to your Eagle ID card at the Cashier's office or at any one of the 3 CMC machines on campus. There are 2 CMC machines located on the first floor of the library and one in the Student Union. 'Eagle Dollars' are stored on your Eagle ID card and never expire. Please note that you can NOT use your card as an ATM card to withdrawal cash; you can only ADD cash value to your Eagle ID card.

STUDENTS

If you live in campus housing, your Eagle ID card is the key to your room. You also need your Eagle ID card to check out books from the library.

Newspapers, complimentary of FGCU Student Government, are available across campus in machines accessed by using your Eagle ID card.

You also need your Eagle ID card to gain FREE access to University athletic events as well as the campus recreation facilities and to participate in intramurals.  If you purchased a meal plan, your Eagle ID acts as your key to access your plan. You need to have your Eagle ID card with you in order to enter the facility. Along with your meal portion of your plan, you receive 'Dining Dollars' to use at all dining services facilities. These 'Dining Dollars' are stored on your Eagle ID card and expire at the end of each academic year. If you do not have a meal plan and would like to learn more click Eagle Dining.

You can use 'Eagle Dollars' to pay for textbooks and other items you purchase at the University Bookstore. Get the latest FGCU apparel by visiting the bookstore in person or by visiting the University Store online.

You can only use 'Eagle Dollars' to print from the library computers or microfiche printers and make copies at any campus copier. You can also utilize the printers in the computer labs across campus by using your 'Eagle Dollars'. If you do not have your Eagle ID on hand, you can purchase a cash card for $1.00 at a CMC machine and add 'Eagle Dollars' to this card to make purchases.
