Emergent Technologies Institute - Call to Artists

Project Title: Emergent Technologies Institute, FGCU

              (or alumni of FGCU)

Art Project Overview
A new FGCU research and educational facility focused on advancing renewable energy is under construction in Ft. Myers, Florida. The aim of the art component of this project is to commission site specific artwork that reflects this renewable energy and emergent technologies theme. Please review the

FGCU Facilities Planning would like to thank you for submission for professional services regarding our future Student Health & Fitness Center.  Your interest in Florida Gulf Coast University is greatly appreciated.

We are pleased to announce the following firms have been shortlisted to interview at the time and location noted.

Location: FGCU Campus Support Complex, Room 14


8:30 -9:00  StudioPlus /RDG Architects
9:10 - 9:40   Borrelli+Partners/Dewberry
9:50 - 10:20  HKS Architects
10:30 - 11:00  Harvard Jolly/Hastings+Chivetta

Each invited firm will be allocated approximately 20 minutes, plus a 10 minute question and answer period. The presentation time and question and answer time will be strictly adhered to, and interviewed firms must be prompt, with all key members of the proposal team in attendance. Written presentation summaries should be provided to each of the committee members at time of interview.

     1.  Ability to Provide Service – Discuss your specific abilities and experience with respect to this project.
          Identify by name, the key personnel on your proposed team and their office location.

     2.  Cost and Schedule Control – Discuss your ability to provide design solutions that are appropriate to an
          established budget and schedule.

     3.  Project Approach Method – Discuss the proposed approach and methods you will use to reach project
