The GRE General Test will be revised as of August 2011.  It will include new content, question types, and a new score scale.  Please review below some important information if you are taking this test for entrance into one of our graduate programs:

  • The revised GRE General Test launches August 1, 2011.
  • Score reporting will be significantly delayed from August 1, 2011 to November 1, 2011.  Applicants needing score results prior to November 1st should take the test prior to August 1st.  Normal score reporting times of 10-15 days will resume December 1, 2011.
  • The score scale is changing to 130-170 instead of the current scale of 200-800 for each section.
  • The concordance table that will create an easy bridge from current test scores to the revised ones will not be available until November 1, 2011.  Please be aware that this may delay admission decisions, but should not affect very many programs.

We would like to encourage you to visit www.gre.org for a free test prep exam and for more information on the revision.
