Admitted Graduate Students



Congratulations on your recent admission to FGCU!  All newly admitted doctorate, masters and graduate certificate seeking students will be assessed a mandatory, non-refundable $35.00 orientation fee, regardless of attendance.  This fee will be applied to your student account after course registration has occurred.  While attendance is not required, it is highly encouraged.  The Fall 2016 Graduate Student Orientation will take place on Tuesday, August 9th from 2:00-5:00pm in the Cohen Center.

Establishing residency is a state mandated requirement that must be renewed each time a new application is created. Please find more information and options for claiming Florida Residency


Check to see if you have any holds  before you begin course registration. To view your holds: log in to Gulfline, go to the Student section, select "Student Records," and select "View Holds."

Some holds will prohibit you from specific processes (e.g. an immunization hold will prevent you from registering for classes).

Course Registration

Degree-Seeking & Certificate Students can register on Gulfline or with the assistance of your program advisor/coordinator, as listed here.

Post-Baccalaureate Non-Degree Students The Office of Research & Graduate Studies is not able to register students for classes. If you are not able to register, please get in touch with the appropriate contact, listed below, with your name, UIN, and the course CRN.

Student E-mail

Activate your student e-mail account at the FGCU EagleMail website. Please note: it is FGCU policy that the EagleMail address is the only designated primary e-mail address for all university communications after registration has occurred. If you need assistance with Eagle Mail, contact the Help Desk via e-mail or call (239) 590-1188.


Canvas is a Learning Management System (LMS) that is used by online, hybrid, and face-to-face classes at FGCU. Get familiar with Canvas as soon as possible. Your login information for Canvas is your EagleMail address and password, and you will be able to access your class pages once your instructors activate them. Information about Canvas, as well as a student demonstration course, is available at the Canvas website. If you need assistance with Canvas, contact the FGCU Technology Support via e-mail or call (239) 590-7100.


Gulfline is FGCU's convenient online student system that will allow you to register for classes, pay tuition, check class schedules, review grades, register vehicles, and order books. To log in, you will need your University Identification Number (UIN) and Personal Identification Number (PIN). Tuition statements and final grades are not mailed to you; this information is provided through Gulfline. For Gulfline assistance, contact the Office of the Registrar via e-mail or call (239) 590-7980.

International Students

International students must refer to the International Student Graduate Admissions Guide for further admissions guidelines. International students may not enroll as non-degree seeking students due to federal regulations.  Additional information may be found at the International Students website.
