Congratulations on becoming an Employee at FGCU!

Now that you have accepted your position, you will meet with one of our Records Representatives to complete your Sign-On Session. The date and time of your appointment was included in your offer letter. Please bring the following items:

  •  Sign-On Packet

Print single-sided and complete in pen.

  • Required documentation
    • Original document(s) that establish employment eligibility. A list of acceptable documents, as specified on the I-9, is provided below.

I-9 Lists of Acceptable Documentation [.pdf – 91 KB]

Important Note: A critical component of the new employee sign-on process is the completion of the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS, formerly INS) I-9 Form. Completion of the I-9 form is required to verify the identity and employment eligibility of anyone hired by the University. According to BCIS requirements, all new employees must complete the I-9 Form on or before their first day of work.

    • Social security card for Payroll W-4 purposes (photocopy is acceptable if you will not be presenting your original security card as one of the I-9 documents).
