Florida Gulf Coast University offers benefits to Faculty, Administrative & Professional (A&P), and Support Personnel (SP) employees. These benefits may include paid annual and sick leave, holidays, state and university sponsored insurance programs, and retirement. Due to the temporary classification of OPS and Adjunct Faculty positions, these employees are not eligible to participate in state or university sponsored benefit programs.

Benefits Orientation

Benefits Orientation provides new employees with an overview of the benefits package, as well as instructions for enrolling through People First. These sessions are held on a regularly scheduled basis.

Enrollment in your State of Florida sponsored benefits is performed on the People First Website or by calling 1-866-663-4735. Prior to enrolling in your benefit programs, we suggest that you attend one of our Benefit Orientation sessions or refer to the Employee Benefits Guide for instructions.
