Sign-On packets and other requirement details are available to new employees according to their type of employment. Hiring departments must advise their new employees to complete a Sign On packet in order to be placed on payroll. Please view one of the pages below based upon your employment type;
Important Note: A critical component of the new employee Sign-On process is the completion of the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS, formerly INS) I-9 Form. Completion of the I-9 form is required to verify the identity and employment eligibility of anyone hired by the University. According to BCIS requirements, all new employees must complete the I-9 Form on or before their first day of work.
Supervisors must also fill out the New Hire background Check Verification form for OPS and Student employees. This form is required to participate in a sign-on session, so must be completed and given to the employee prior to attending a session.
