The Honors Program is currently accepting applications for the Spring & Fall 2010 Semesters.
Deadlines:
The deadline for both Spring 2010 admission and Fall 2010 early-decision admission is October 30, 2009. Only completed applications that are received by this deadline will be considered for Spring admission. Students who have completed applications by this deadline should expect to hear if they are accepted, rejected or waitlisted by November 16th
The Honors Program begins to accept applicants for the Fall semester starting on February 2nd. Students seeking funding are encouraged to apply by that date. Applications received after this time will still be reviewed for admittance, however they will not be considered for scholarships for the academic year in which they are applying.
The final deadline for applying for the Honors Program for the fall semester is April 1st. Students who have completed applications should expect to hear if they are accepted, rejected, or waitlisted within two weeks following the deadline.
The Honors Program can only admit a small number of students. These will be chosen by the Application Review Committee and the decision will be based upon numerous factors including the following: GPA, Letters of Recommendation, Transcripts, Essay, and Awards.

Please fill out the application form and submit on-line. This will allow us to track your application and respond in a timely manner.
All required fields must be completed before submittig your application.
The essay (question #8) is one of the most important parts of the application. We will judge responses for clarity and depth of thought, sophistication of prose and argumentation, and general qualitiy of content and style. Your response should be between 750 and 1250 words (3-5 pages).
If cutting and pasting your essay: REMOVE ALL DASHES ( - ) or you may receive an error message upon submission. Any dashes within your essay or e-mail adress may result in an error.
*Applicants who submit an essay with a length of less than 500 words will be automatically rejected.
