Move-In Guide
Summer 2013 Move-in Information:
Students transferring from a current room on campus to a summer room may transfer on on the specified transfer date (TBA). All residents transferring rooms must check-out of their Spring room by (TBA).
New Residents for Summer A & Summer C: Check-in Saturday, May 5, from 9 am-9 pm.
New Residents for Summer B: Check-in beginning Sunday, June 16, from 9 am-9 pm.
Please bring your own dolly/hand truck to assist with your move in!
Fall 2013 Move-in Information:
New Residents Move-in Date: Thursday, August 15, 2013
NLV Returning Residents Move-in Date: Friday, August 16, 2013
WLV Returning Residents Move-in Date: Saturday, August 17, 2013
Sorority Recruitment Move-in Date: Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 9am to 3pm at the front desk of your residence hall or community. NOTE: Approval must be obtained through Student Involvement for early check-in
Time: Due to the high volume of traffic and people during move-in, all check-ins will be staggered to alleviate long lines and congestion. Please adhere to the following check-in schedule.

New Residents - If you are unable to move in on 8/15 you may check-in anytime after your designated time period through 8/18.

- Returning Residents - If you are unable to move in on 8/16 you may check-in anytime after your designated time period through 8/18.
- Check-in for North Lake Village residents will take place in Eagles' Landing or the Commons between 9 am and 8 pm. There will be signs directing you to the proper check-in location.
- Check-in for South Village (Biscayne, Everglades, Osprey & Palmetto Hall) residents will take place in the Lobby of Biscayne, Everglades, Osprey & Palmetto Halls between 9 am and 8 pm. There will be signs directing you to the proper check-in location.
- Check-in for West Lake Village residents will take place beginning August 17 at the Community Center between 9am and 8 pm.
- Any student planning to check-in after 8/18/13 should notify the Office of Housing & Residence Life by email at housing@fgcu.edu.
- We are unable to make any accommodations for early arrivals, so please make appropriate travel arrangements to arrive on or after August 15th.
