The Certified Public Manager program is a nationally-recognized program for training and developing public managers and supervisors. The primary goals are to professionalize public management and improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness. The program focuses on the fundamentals of leadership and management, with an emphasis on improving one's people skills, team leadership, and organizational effectiveness.

Level 5: Social Change and its Impact on Public Management For Supervisors, Managers and Executives

Examines changes in society-at-large and their probable impact on public organizations and managers. It reviews the most successful contemporary management practices, analyzes significant administrative theory, and reviews contemporary research. The Florida Department of Management Services has endorsed Levels IV, V, VI, and VII of the Florida Certified Public Manager Program as "more than adequately" meeting the provisions of the SES/SMS Professional Development Program. * Social Change and Impacts on Public Mgt * Planning and Budgeting in Public Orgs. ?
