Libby Anderson

Libby Anderson

Libby Anderson M.S., SPHR is President of EDA Human Resource Services and the Southwest Florida Employer's Association. She focuses on providing top quality Human Resource consulting and customized training and development. Libby's mission is to provide immediate and tangible outcomes by focusing on results and relationships.

Libby has 27 years experience working with companies ranging from hi-tech manufacturing, healthcare and specialty retail to hospitality, public sector and non-profit entities. Highlights of her career include working with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in their effort to obtain the Malcolm Baldridge award for quality as well as working on an international level providing training for the United Nations on Human Resource topics. Libby was also selected as a recipient for the "Best of the Best" award for her work with Jacobson's Stores, Inc.

Libby writes for numerous business publications and is a featured speaker at programs focusing on Human Resource issues. She is Past President for HR Florida, the state affiliate of The Society of Human Resource Management and represented the Southeast Region of the United States on the Membership Advisory Committee for SHRM in 2006. She has recently been selected to serve on the Organizational Development Special Expertise Panel of SHRM. Libby is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources and has her Master's Degree in Human Resource Development and Administration from Barry University.

Bill E. Beckwith, Ph.D.

Bill E. Beckwith, Ph.D.

For more than thirty years, Dr. Bill Beckwith has been studying, researching, and teaching about memory. He has earned advanced degrees in Experimental Psychology and Clinical Psychology from the Ohio State University.

His extensive career as an educator spans decades of teaching – from preschool to graduate students. As a Professor at the University of North Dakota, Dr. Beckwith was honored with several teaching awards and grants. As a researcher, Dr. Beckwith has broadened our knowledge of neuroscience, learning, and memory. He has been published extensively in these fields.

During the past decade Dr. Beckwith has focused on the needs of people with memory loss and their caregivers by developing important new approaches and programs. He led and trained others as the clinical director of a major memory disorders clinic. He also established the Department of Behavioral Memory for a large retirement community.

Peter Bergerson, Ph.D.

Peter Bergerson, Ph.D.

Dr. Bergerson received his MPA degree from Indiana State University and his PhD in Political Science from Saint Louis University. He was selected as a James J. Malone Fellow, National Council on U.S./Arab relations, for study and travel in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain and also received the National Endowment for the Humanities Grant to study the “Diffusion of Public Policy Among the American States.” Dr. Bergerson taught at Southwest Missouri State University for 34 years and held the position of Chairperson and Director of the Public Administration program. His areas of interest and research include the Second Amendment, Ethics, War Powers Act and Congressional Elections.

Amanda Evans-Goff has 23 years of experience in health, mental health and management. Ms. Evans earned her bachelor's degree from Florida Southern College and her master's from the University of South Florida and her doctorate from the University of Central Florida. Ms. Evans was instrumental in creating a trauma center for victims of rape and has many years of experience developing community partnerships.

Dr. Jeff Graddy is an Associate with Leadership Research Institute (LRI). Dr. David G. Kelley, D.Min, holds a B.S. degree in psychology from the University of Tennessee, a Master’s degree from the Divinity School of Duke University, and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Organization Development from the San Francisco Theological Seminary in California. He is an ordained United Methodist minister and the founder and former pastor of the Grace United Methodist Church of Cape Coral. Dr. Kelley is a Florida licensed marriage and family therapist and a licensed mediator for the state of Florida.

He has a passion for training particularly in the areas of conflict, trust, leadership, and communication.  David also facilitates team building and strategic planning retreats for clients.

Jim LaRue is President of LaRue Planning and Management Services and has more than two decades of government management and consulting experience. Through DLO Strategic Vision (which Ms. Lynne founded and served as President), she served hundreds of non-profit organizations, public administrations, institutes of learning, and corporations in building capacity and successfully managing change. She has raised millions of dollars, established hundreds of successful strategic alliances, engaged thousands of people in service to their communities and helped tens of thousands of individuals make successful personal, life, education and employment transitions.

Additionally, Debra has extensive presentation and media credentials. Her work has taken her from New York to Hawaii and all places in between and around the country.

Ms. Lynne is currently serving as Executive Director of Easter Seals Florida (Southwest Florida Division) and concurrently serves Easter Seals as Vice President of State-Wide Capacity Building.

Dr. Peterson has over 30 years’ experience in training managers and supervisors of several major Fortune 500 companies as well as numerous medium and smaller-sized firms.  Additionally, he has over twenty years of full-time university and college level teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, nine years working in the marketing department of a Fortune 250 company, and over 3 years’ experience as the Training Manager at a plant of a major US automotive manufacturing company.

Dr. Peterson has over twenty years of leading Six Sigma certification for all facets of business, including manufacturing, health care, government, education, and service.  He recently completed Six Sigma training for the Lee County Emergency Medical Service.  He holds a PhD in Organizational Development from Southern Illinois University.  Dr. Peterson is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and was trained in Six Sigma by General Electric.

Gerald Schoenfeld

Jerry Schoenfeld is Chair of the  Management Department , Director of the M.B.A. Program, and an Associate Professor of Human Resource Management in the Lutgert College of Business at Florida Gulf Coast University.  Jerry earned his doctorate degree in the areas of Human Resource Management and Strategic Management from the University of Pittsburgh. 

Jerry's work with these organizations has included, but is not limited to: strategic planning, cultural change, the development of a wide array of selection devices (e.g., interviewing skill training, assessment centers, structured interviewing guides and training), performance appraisal development and implementation, career development systems, team building, human resource planning, quality of work life programs, total quality management, and numerous customized training programs and workshops.  

His principal research interests are in the areas of performance appraisal, human resource strategy, and entrepreneurial skill development. Jerry has authored numerous academic and practitioner articles on business management and human resource management and has presented his work at many professional conferences and meetings.

Anne Schroeder

Anne Schroeder is a management consultant and trainer with over 20 years experience in developing organizations and their personnel. Her firm provides customer service approaches, corporate retreats, performance appraisal systems, team building, and customized seminars. Anne has developed and conducted strategic planning initiatives for the executive levels of several national associations. As the Guests First trainer, (customer service seminars for Lee County hospitality-related industry), Anne writes a bimonthly column for the Lee Island Coaster newsletter on inspiring and innovative customer service tips and techniques. She has a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University, plus extensive training in organizational problem solving from the University of Buffalo and from Synectics, Inc.

Aiste Sodeika is a Human Resources consultant and founder of Axis HR. During her 15-year career in Human Resources, Aiste’s business alliances spanned across various industries, including global investment management, start-ups, manufacturing, hospitality, interactive multi-channel retailer, and others. Prior to forming Axis HR, Aiste worked in the human resources management and compensation management roles at DOVatron Manufacturing, Home Shopping Network, and Franklin Templeton. 

Originally from Lithuania, Aiste is living her entrepreneurial American dream and is happy to share her time and expertise volunteering at a few non-profit organizations. She serves on the Legislative Committee and the Workforce Readiness Committee of the SHRMA (Society of Human Resources Management) chapter in Collier county. She also volunteers at St. Matthew’s House where she coaches and prepares the homeless community to re-enter the workforce.

Overview:

Cheryl is President of CNO, Inc. a Florida based consulting and training corporation serving clients and customers nation-wide through the delivery of more than 60 different courses in areas ranging from software instruction to change management and performance motivation. Prior to this Cheryl was the Training & Organization Development Manager for the Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners for approximately 11 years.

Cheryl is a nineteen year U.S. Naval Reserve Officer, holding the rank of Commander. This offered her the opportunity for extensive travel to more than 17 countries including the Far East, Middle East & Europe where she has exercised developer, implementer, and oversight responsibilities for strategic plans associated with all branches of the U.S. military and varied foreign allies.

Cheryl is a professional public speaker and a founding member of the local Charlotte County Toastmasters' Club. She is a member of numerous professional associations, and believes strongly in building successful communities through strong businesses and families.

Myra Hale Walters has 20 years experience in teaching, training design, and presentation.
