Sandra Pavelka, Ph.D. Director, Institute for Youth and Justice Studies at Florida Gulf Coast University will speak on “Women in Government: Yesterday’s Challenges, Today’s Opportunities, Tomorrow’s Global Leaders.” Dr. Pavelka’s presentation will include an historical perspective of women’s participation in government and appreciation of how women have made a difference.
March is National Women’s History Month; this meeting is an opportunity to recognize, honor and celebrate the achievements of women in government.
