FGCU International Services

Faculty and Staff Resources

International Services offers services and resources to support FGCU faculty and staff participation in international education.

Information and resources on international opportunities are available for teaching, research, exchange and professional development.   Guidance and resources for international travel such as passports, visas, health insurance and travel tips are also available.

Our office supports the hosting of foreign nationals at FGCU by faculty and staff, through the Exchange Visitor Program and providing guidance and immigration processing for foreign nationals coming to FGCU under a FGCU program or department sponsorship.  This includes persons participating as exchange professors or research scholars, conference attendees, visiting lecturer, etc.  Faculty and staff are advised to contact us well in advance of the actual date of the foreign national’s intended arrival to the US in order to appropriately complete necessary immigration and visa matters.

Additionally we provide guidance to faculty and staff who are assisting FGCU students in their international education experiences abroad (such as study, intern, work and service abroad) and international students enrolled at FGCU.  We can also assist with resources to foster internationally-themed events on campus, offer language translation, public speaking engagements (with students or staff), and various cultural resources.
