Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) And Diversity Advisory Committee
Overview
The Equal Opportunity/Diversity Committee advises the President and key university leaders on matters related to equal opportunity/diversity for students, faculty and staff.
Among the specific responsibilities of the committee are:
To serve as an advisory committee to the President and Vice President on issues pertaining to ways of providing equal opportunity for students, faculty and staff in conformance with Federal and State laws.
To help educate the campus community on the benefits of subscribing to the values of equal opportunity and diversity.
To monitor the progress of the campus in achieving the objectives of the affirmative action plan.
To monitor and review policies and rules pertaining to equal opportunity and diversity.
To periodically monitor the campus programs and services to assess the experiences of students, faculty and staff with respect to equal opportunity, diversity and campus climate issues.
