Compliance / Diversity Framework


COMPLIANCE

At FGCU, compliance is fostering non-discrimination and non-harassment in the workplace and the educational environment by adhering to all federal and state laws, local ordinances, and related guidelines pertaining to university services, programs, activities, policies, procedures and practices.


Expected Outcomes:

Diversity

  • A highly participatory and multi-dimensional, diverse workforce; and
  • Accessible means to redress matters pertaining to discrimination complaints.

DIVERSITY

FGCU seeks to enhance human and intellectual diversity among students, faculty, and staff in recruitment, retention and/or graduation as applicable; to boost support, participation, and access to programs, services and activities; and to broaden the University’s supplier and contractor base; all in a welcoming educational, employment and business climate.
