Undergraduate student research plays an integral role at FGCU to support and advance faculty research as well as to enrich the student-centered learning environment. The Office of Research & Graduate Studies (ORGS) establishes the “Undergraduate Student Research Support Award” (USRSA) to promote undergraduate student research participation across all academic disciplines at FGCU. All full-time FGCU Faculty are eligible to apply. Award recipients are expected to involve currently enrolled full-time FGCU undergraduate students in research or scholarly activities.
Deadline: The last Monday of April 2015 (by 5:00 pm)
Faculty award recipients must submit a Final Report (< 5 pages) to document activities and accomplishments as well as a Financial Report to provide details of itemized expenditures to ORGS (firstname.lastname@example.org) by October 1, 2016. Applications will be reviewed immediately after the deadline. Incomplete application packages will not be reviewed. Award recipients will be notified via email by the end of June.
