Issues Commonly Addressed: When One Should See an Ombuds

  • When you are a student with questions or concerns about course credit or degree progress under FGCU PR4.004, Student Grievances and FGCU PR1.010 Student Course & Credit Grievance Policy
  • When you are a student with questions or concerns about the Student Grade Appeals procedure
  • When you are a faculty member wishing to informally resolved an issue or concern under the collective bargaining agreement.
  • When you have a general concern that does not relate to discrimination or harassment and only informal resolution is sought. (Complaints of discrimination or harassment should be directed to Brandon Washington, Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance, employee relations matters not related to discrimination or harassment should be referred to the Office of Human Resources.)
