The “YES” and “NO” of Campus Recycling.  This is your comprehensive list of what can and cannot be recycled on campus at FGCU.

  • Screen from Doors/Windows

  • Cans: Soup, Tuna, Juice, Fruit, Vegetable, Pet Food, etc
  • Empty Aerosol Cans (Hairspray, Mousse, Spray Paint, etc)
  • Silverware
  • Tools
  • License Plates
PLASTIC

  • Any container labeled #1-#7 (*see exceptions in NO section)
  • Straws
  • Plastic Bags (Drop These off in CSC-30, or take them to Target/Supermarkets)
  • Plastic Silverware
  • Pens/Mechanical Pencils
  • Egg Cartons/Styrofoam (Take these to Supermarkets for Recycling)
  • Any Chemical Container (Antifreeze, Motor Oil, etc)
