Following the selection of the topic of our next Quality Enhancement Plan, University-wide Writing, Critical Thinking, and Literacy Initiative, and in consultation with Faculty Senate and others, I am pleased to announce the group that will work over the next two years to conceive an initiative intended to enhance student learning in accordance with COC of SACS criteria. All of the individuals who have agreed to serve on this group are well-qualified for the task and are committed to its successful completion. Leading this effort will be Dr. Jim Wohlpart, Dean of Undergraduate Studies. The membership of QEP Development Committee (QEPDC) is as follows:

The QEPDC will post periodic updates as its work progresses. The Committee will begin to meet in fall 2012 and will form ad hoc subgroups as it determines necessary to complete its work.
