Grant-in-Aid (GIA) Educational Leave Award Program
The Grant-in-Aid Educational Leave Award Program (GIA) is an annual initiative which provides paid educational leave to eligible employees pursuing programs of study toward an Associate, Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Grant-in-Aid applicants should have at least two (2) years satisfactory performance in a permanent or continuing full-time position prior to August 7, 2016 of the academic year in which the grant will be awarded. The applicant agrees to continue employment with the University for one calendar year (12 months) after completion of the GIA Program.

Research Day 2016
Research Day will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016, at Alico Arena. This day offers you and your student(s) the opportunity to showcase and be recognized for your research findings and contributions.
The Office of Research & Graduate Studies (ORGS) and the Faculty Senate Grants & Research Team (GRT) cordially invite all faculty, research personnel/staff, graduate students and undergraduate students to register by submitting the “Research Day 2016 Submission Form” (http://www.fgcu.edu/ORSP/index.html). The submission deadline is 5:00 pm, Friday, February 26, 2016. (Please note that faculty or faculty mentor/advisor is responsible for submitting the “Research Day 2016 Submission Form” as an attachment via email to ORGS (email@example.com).
