John Brandon (Fiction)
John Brandon attended the University of Florida and Washington University in St. Louis. During the writing of his novel, Arkansas, he worked at a lumber mill, a windshield warehouse, a Coca-Cola distributor, and several small factories producing goods made of rubber and plastic. His shorter writings have appeared in Words & Images, Mississippi Review, McSweeney's Quarterly Concern, Subtropics, Duck & Herring, and The Believer. He was raised on the Gulf Coast of Florida, and his favorite recreational activity is watching college football.
