Jay Wexler (Creative Nonfiction)


Jay Wexler has been a professor at Boston University School of Law since 2001, where he teaches the first amendment, law and religion, and other topics.  In addition to his scholarly writing, Wexler has also published over three dozen short stories and humor pieces in various online and print journals such as McSweeney's Internet Tendency, Spy Magazine, Barrelhouse, Monkeybicycle, and Opium.  His first book, a first-amendment-memoir-travelogue-comedy called Holy Hullabaloos: A Road Trip to the Battlegrounds of the Church/State Wars will be published by Beacon Press in June 2009.  His stories and other works can be found at www.jaywex.com, and his blog is www.holyhullabaloos.typepad.com.
