Mission Statement

The Testing Center supports the Mission and Guiding Principles of Florida Gulf Coast University through service to the students, faculty and community. Services are provided with dedication to the Professional Standards and Guidelines for Post-Secondary Test Centers through membership in the National College Testing Association (NCTA), membership in the Florida Association of College Test Administrators (FACTA), and participation in the Consortium of College Testing Centers (CCTC).

The student is our primary focus within an environment of security and confidentiality. Through the programs and services offered by the Testing Center, we strive to support and enhance a student’s formal education with a spirit that moves the student toward a successful future.

Policy For Providing On Campus Test Services

The Florida Gulf Coast University Testing Center, as part of its Mission Statement, is committed to providing services to students, faculty and community. At this time, given the constraints of space and staff, limited services are available.

As an auxiliary unit, the Testing Center charges fees for our services. A listing of fees is posted in the Testing Center lobby, and available upon request from the Testing Center.

Requests for service must be directed to the Testing Center Director for approval at his/her discretion.
