Mission Statement

The Testing Center supports the Mission and Guiding Principles of Florida Gulf Coast University through service to the students, faculty, staff and greater community. Services are provided with dedication to the Professional Standards and Guidelines for Post-Secondary Test Centers through membership in the National College Testing Association (NCTA); membership in the Florida Association of College Test Administrators (FACTA); and participation in the Consortium of College Testing Centers (CCTC).

The student is our primary focus within an environment of security and confidentiality. Through the programs and services offered by the Testing Center, we strive to support and enhance a student’s formal education with a spirit that moves the student toward a successful future.

• Pens/Pencils
• Tobacco of any kind

Exceptions are made for items permitted for specific tests. The Testing Director has the right to refuse admission to the testing lab for any reason deemed as a possible violation of security or as a possible disruption to other examinees.
