University Police Department Office Manager, "Smitty" Rounsifer, has been employed by Florida Gulf Coast University since 1996 when she worked as a Senior Secretary in Student Services. In June of 1998 she moved to the University Police Department as Executive Secretary to the Chief of Police, and a few years later was promoted to Office Manager. Smitty handles much of the "behind the scenes" work for the Police Department.
