The Department of e-Learning and Academic Web provides the following services:

Support to faculty in the use of technology to facilitate teaching and learning and to extend teaching and learning beyond the classroom.

  • Canvas, TurnItIn, Adobe Connect, Checkbox Survey, etc.
  • Video capturing and editing

Empowering faculty to develop and deliver exemplary courses and integrate technology into the curriculum.

  • One-on-one consultation, workshops and series
  • Basic to Advanced Canvas LMS training
  • Technology tools training
  • Course and learning activity design and development

Strengthening the instructional effectiveness of a course through the design, development and use of pedagogical strategies, digital media and technologies.

  • Instructional Designers, Instructional Technologists, Graphic Designers and Video Specialists are available

Supporting the development and administration of Web based systems critical to the day to day operations of Academic Affairs, such as the Curriculum Management System and the Online FGCU Catalog.
