Prevention and Wellness

About Us

Our goal is to have an active, visible presence on campus in order to engage with students on topics such as stress, nutrition, alcohol and drugs, sexual health, or any wellness issue related to their success in college. We facilitate this by using programming, events, Peer Education, health promotion, online tools and a free resource area in our lobby.

We reach more and more students every year, through our own wellness programming, getting involved in opportunities on campus and collaborating with other departments. In 2011, for example, P&W provided 452 events/programs, reached 10,272 students and collaborated with 20 various departments.

The staff of P&W are dedicated to encouraging wellness at FGCU in a fun and meaningful way. We invite you to see everything we have to offer by exploring the rest of our website, or by stopping in to see us.
